Opened in 1850 by the Huddersfield & Sheffield Junction Railway which became part of the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway's empire. View south east towards Stocksmoor and Sheffield. The disused former southbound platform is on the left. From 1850 to 1959, this was the junction for the short Holmfirth branch.
