This is the view from the lych gate leading to St George's Church at Benenden. It is looking out to The Green which is very much the centre of the village. When I parked the car for a long walk from here, all was nice and quiet but when I came back three hours later a cricket match was taking place on the grass with warning notices put up warning people that cars were parked at the owner's own risk. My car was by far the closest but fortunately was unscathed.
