View NW at the level-crossing of the B1102 Cambridge - Mildenhall road, towards Ely - formerly also Mildenhall: ex-GER Ely - Newmarket line. The station, closed to passengers 13/9/65 (goods 12/9/66), was behind the camera. Until 19/4/65 it was also the junction with the Cambridge - Mildenhall branch (closed to passengers 18/6/62), which curved off to Mildenhall here to the right. (Cf. Image]).
