View southward, towards Machynlleth and Aberystwyth: ex-Cambrian Railway Whitchurch - Oswestry - Buttington - Welshpool - Machynlleth - Aberystwyth main line. The station was closed 14/6/65, when the whole line was also closed between Whitchurch and Buttington, leaving only the trains to the Welsh Coast running via Shrewsbury through Forden.
