Newtown Textile Museum

The museum is housed in an early 19th century weaving shop in Commercial Street. The exhibition shows the textile creation process from wool to yarn, telling the history of Newtown's industry, the consequences for the town and its people. The museum also has exhibits from related industries such as tanning and clog-making.
