The Hurtletoot Road, just off the Antrim end of the Crosskennan Road, is one of several minor roads in the area which were bisected by the construction of the M2 motorway built in stages between 1966 and 1975. Not sure of the origin of the name Hurtletoot, possibly a townland or parish.
