Looking up Kerr Street. The street name sign on the Kerr Street façade of the building on the left highlights a particular problem for a stranger in the place - it relates to the group of buildings, which may well be their formal postal address, rather than the name of the street itself which is what appears on maps. The houses forming Glanville Place form part of the wholesale development of the western end of Edinburgh in the 1820s. They are Listed Category B.
