Actually located in Kirkbymoorside (Victorian railway companies sometimes got the spelling wrong), this station was opened in 1874 by the North Eastern Railway on the line from Gilling to Pickering. It closed in 1953 to regular passenger traffic and completely in 1964. Forecourt and former weighbridge. It was demolished in 2010 to make way for housing.
