This is the entrance (or exit) of the southern section of this “local nature reserve”. It was created in 2005 to replace habitats lost through the construction of Oakham Business Park and it covers 6.3 hectares. Behind the photographer is its Sheepbridge Lane section and ahead, through the entrance/exit point, is Bleak Hills Lane, a long established lane, still known by some older locals as Harvey's Lane (too).
