Looking north west along a virtually deserted Palmerston Place. Palmerston Place is closed at the junction with West Maitland Street behind the photographer due to the ongoing tram roadworks, and accounts for the lack of through traffic. On the right can be seen St. Mary's Cathedral, and on the left Palmerston Place Church.
