This seemingly derelict house lies just off the public footpath into the Windlesham Arboretum, which was established by Major William Spowers, who died in June 2009. It is now administered by the ‘Spowers Charitable Trust’, (STC), which has restricted the access to much of the arboretum to the public. Those areas which are still open to the public have not been maintained to the original high standard, but there are still some delightful areas.
