Part of the National Forest. This 11.2 hectare (28 acre) woodland was created over two years, planting started in February 2000, in total 15,000 trees were planted. These consist mainly of oak, ash and silver birch. Other species planted are willow, alder, yew, wild service tree and whitebeam.
