Although the frontages are separately branded, the Co-op and post office are part of the same premises and share the main entrance. Wootton Post Office has an interesting history - it opened in 1890 and closed in about 1978. Nearby Sandleigh had a post office from 1938 until 24 September 2008 and, just under a year later, an office was reopened here at Wootton on 10 September 2009.
