While still in the hands of Northern Ireland Railways' less than successful diesel hydraulic locomotives, NIR had abandoned the "Heath-Robinson" contraption seen in Image in favour of hiring the CIE weed control train for the 1977 spraying season. Diesel hydraulic No. 2 is about to depart Lisburn to spray the former GNR(I) branch line to Antrim.
