It was built in 1586 but subsequently reduced in size. It was restored in 1890. The Chapel was built in 1610 and restored in 1894. The Dovecote is original. The River Cherwell snakes by in front. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_Eaton,_Oxfordshire
