C J Enterprises is a blending facility for dry powdered products http://www.cjenterprises.co.uk/index2.html It stands beside the line of the Paddock Wood to Hawkhurst Railway, which had intermediate stations at Horsmonden, Goudhurst and Cranbrook, and was opened in two stages. The first from Paddock Wood to Hope Mill (subsequently renamed Goudhurst, on the first day of this section's opening) on 4 September 1893 for Goudhurst and Lamberhurst and the second stage from Goudhurst to Hawkhurst on 4 September 1893. The line closed completely on 12 June 1961. The route of the railway would have been to the gate on the right, which has the firm's name-plate attached, and beyond.
