View from bridge towards village. (Photo submitted 8 May 2006 edited to remove visible date.) The River Brett has two headstreams, this one from Lavenham, another from Brettenham. A local resident has informed me that the one from Brettenham is regarded as being the River Brett. Several websites including the Environment Agency flood warning page refer to the River Brett at Lavenham.
