The Bus House, Okehampton

This toll house on Lodge Hill (the main road to Hatherleigh, on the left of the picture), northwest of the town centre, was built in 1760 by the local Turnpike Trust. The conical roof was originally thatched. The side road on the right is Ranelagh Road.
