Derelict Dol-y-Coed spa well at Llanwrytyd Wells

The derelict "stinking well" in the grounds of the Dol-y-Coed Hotel, Llanwrytyd Wells. There was a very strong smell of sulphur from the water that flowed freely. Some of the elaborate mosaic work which decorated the well can still be seen. This was one of a number of spas which once flourished in this beautiful countryside.
