A row of terraced houses facing Cromwell Square. The skyscraper is "Ipswich Central", an apartment block on the other side of Franciscan Way (the A1022); the 4-5 storey building is St Nicholas House, another apartment block, whilst the west side of the former St Nicholas' Church on Cutler Street stands guard over a different corner of Cromwell Square car park. St Nicholas' Church is now a diocesan conference venue and offices.
