A good example of a Victorian neo-Tudor house. It has the usual spiky profile by means of gables, finials, chimneys and the steeply pitched roof. The south front is symmetrical, but the house is quite early Victorian, built 1856 to the designs of Henry Clutton. Grade II* listed. It is now a private nursing home. The date of the photo is uncertain.
