A way-marker post in a corner of "Merryweather's Heritage Orchard" with a view of some of its specimens. Nearby, at the side of the Southwell-Fiskerton road and, behind the photographer, is Brinkley Hall Farm and ahead are houses on Pollard's Lane. The Merryweather & Sons enterprise established this orchard in 2004 before ceasing to trade. There are specimens here of 30 or more varieties of apples and some damson, plum, quince and medlar cultivars.
