Sandal & Walton railway station (site), Yorkshire

Opened in 1870 by the Midland Railway on the line from Rotherham to Leeds, this station closed in 1961. View north from Shay Lane bridge towards Oakenshaw and Leeds. There used to be four tracks here and the station was built around the left hand pair.
