The building of Woolwich Town Hall began on 11th February 1903, and it was formally opened on 13th January 1906 by Will Crooks MP. Inside the Wellington Street entrance is the Victoria Hall, seen here. At the top of the ceremonial staircase is a statue of Queen Victoria.
