Oriel Cottage Burn in Craiglockhart Dell

The burn runs behind and alongside an 18th-century grotto built by the owner of Craiglockhart House. Its name is thought to indicate that its source is close to Oriel Cottage which stands on Colinton Road opposite Redford Barracks.
