Grand Union Canal: Market Harborough Arm: Hill Crest winding hole

A winding hole enables long narrow boats to turn through 180 degrees. This one, near the former Hill Crest house, is shown on the earliest currently available online large scale Ordnance Survey mapping of 1886, so may be part of the original fabric of the canal.
