The restaurant, specialising in Bangladeshi cuisine, is at 47-49 High Street. The building, previously The Cock Pit http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2337761 has a long and varied history. The age of the building is unknown for certain. Its style is 15th century, but documentary evidence of the present structure does not occur until 1611. It is the last surviving example of the shop-houses which were typical of Eton before the arrival of the College. The postbox http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3474750 is an early design that was introduced in 1856.
