Seen from Maidstone Road, planning permission has been granted by Ashford Borough Council under application number 11/00932/AS for "the construction of a retail development for John Lewis at Home, together with car parking, access, landscaping and associated works (including foul drainage, sewer, pumping station and electricity sub-station)". Lampposts along Fougeres Way can be seen on the right.
