The former Rugeley Picture House on Horse Fair in Rugeley, which opened in 1934 showing 'Pardon my pups' starring Shirley Temple, and 'Evergreen' with Jesse Matthews. It was renamed The Plaza in 1940, and operated as a cinema until the mid 1990s, soon after which it was converted to a pub by the JD Wetherspoon chain. http://cinematreasures.org/theaters/37454
