Weld Chapel of Ease, Southgate

The location of the 'Weld Chapel of Ease', is in the churchyard of Christ Church, Southgate. Originally built as 'Arnold's Chapel' for the Weld family it was consecrated on the 24th May 1615. It became the Chapel of Ease for the people of Southgate, as part of the Parish of All Saint's, Edmonton, until replaced by Christ Church in 1862.
