Houses on the west side of Field Street, viewed from Abbey Street. Formerly Prospect Place, it was renamed in 1909 after William Field, a prominent seed merchant, grocer and tea merchant. His daughter, Esther Ellen, married Thomas Robinson Ferens, Liberal MP for East Hull, 1906-18.
