Going full tilt and seen from North Leverton windmill. The main power station was commissioned in 1969 and is a typical 2000 MW set with four unit boiler/turbine sets. There is also a 400 MW combined cycle gas turbine plant with 58% efficiency (a 2000 MW plant is around 37% efficient although there are steps that can be taken to improve this).
