The isolated cottage in the middle distance is shown on the map as Butend, though in fact it is called Butt End. The hills of the Highlands are seen across Strath Earn. The pronounced V-shaped valley just right of centre is Glen Turret, with Ben Chonzie (931m) just beyond.
