Opened in 1847 by the York & North Midland Railway on its line from Church Fenton to Harrogate (Brunswick), this station closed very early, in 1905, although the line to Harrogate stayed open until 1964. View south west towards Church Fenton. Dr Beeching is blamed for a lot of closures. This station was closed before he was even born!
