View northward at the former level-crossing: Emneth station was miles from anywhere, in the middle of the Fens east of Wisbech on the Great Eastern line from March via Wisbech to Magdalen Road (now Watlington) on the Ely - King's Lynn main line. The line was closed east of Wisbech on 9/9/68, but March - Wisbech has remained open for goods. (It is very hard to trace the course of the line here on modern OS maps.) As shown in Image and Image, a more recent owner has put a railway carriage and a seat in his garden - probably out of sight in my scene.
