Built ca. 1860, this was originally Nelson Street United Presbyterian Church and later (1900) Nelson Street United Free Church, when the UP and Free Churches merged. By the 1920s it was marked as a cinema on OS maps and some time later the hideous false frontage was added. It is now a party and disco warehouse and recording studio.
