The Grewelthorpe Himalayan Gardens have been established since 1998 on the steep side of the valley of the Hutts Gill and feature plants such as rhododendron. They are open to the public in spring and early summer. The gardens also host a rotating display of sculptures such as this one by Giles Raynor, sited in a small pond below the dam which retains the lower of two lakes.
