Rossett Hall was built in 1750 by John Boydell (1720–1804) as a country retreat for his family. The Georgian manor house remained in the Boydell family until the 1970s when it first became a hotel. As a building of historic and architectural interest Rossett Hall is now Grade II listed. Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rossett_Hall
