The 20 storey "St George's Central" building (a.k.a. St George's Tower) on the St George's Way/Campbell Street corner site is the most prominent building to be seen at this end of East Street. The Whitbread giant has a Premier Inn located within the lower part of the skyscraper and the remainder of it is residential accommodation. The modern building on the right is part of Peat House, premises currently occupied by KPMG, and above the green-painted shop front on the left are buildings owned by the YMCA.
