Thorp Perrow Arboretum includes trees dating back to the 16th century and extends to 40 hectares. Since the late 1970s it has been developed as a first-class amenity open to the public. A number of sculptures - mostly made of wood - are sited within the Arboretum. This eagle stands - appropriately - by the entrance to the Falcons of Thorp Perrow enclosure.
