Three Oaks Station

Sees three services a day in each direction. During the 1980s and 90s it was possible to request the train to stop at this station (and Doleham and Winchelsea) but once Ashford became an international exchange station and new DMUs entered service this is no longer possible. The line itself was singled in the early 1970s with just one passing point between Ore and Appledore at Rye, the old down platform now gradually becoming overgrown. Picture was taken next to the sign saying do not go any further!
