This end of the new Lewisham council building on Giffin Street includes a rooftop sports court, performance hall, meeting rooms, music room and other community facilities. The other end is a library Image According to the Council's website, "Deptford Lounge presents a dramatic backdrop to Giffin Square through the use of a gold-coloured perforated copper skin, a translucent envelope which literally wraps together the many co-located facilities."
