The Lawn, No.33 Lowgate, is a good example of a large cubical villa, built circa 1864. Note the attractive cast-iron belvedere on the Welsh slate roof. Having operated as The Lawns Club for several years, it is now a residential development. Viewed from The Lawns road of same name.
