Nos.1 to 6 Chamberlain Court, opened 31 May 2000, by the Lord Mayor of Kingston upon Hull, to replace houses erected 1954 to provide additional accommodation and partly to replace the home in Church Street, erected in 1804 (now an extension to the Ship Inn). Plaque on façade above windows reads: 'Leonard Chamberlain Trust 1999', the Trust having been founded by him upon his death in 1716, leaving money for almshouses in Sutton on Hull.
