View eastward, towards Duns and Reston: ex-NBR Reston - Duns - Greenlaw - St Boswells line. After the Great Floods of 12/8/48, Earlston lost its passenger services, which ceased Duns - St Boswells, but after some months freight traffic was restored until complete closure came about from 19/7/65: Reston - Duns lost passenger services from 10/9/51, goods from 7/11/66.
