The tree was planted in 2009. The purple hearts contain messages left by local members of the support group Survivors of Bereavement through Suicide (SOBS) http://www.uk-sobs.org.uk/ at a service in January. The plaque in front of the tree reads "In loving memory of those who have taken their own life. Gone but not forgotten". Image
