Shenfield railway station, Essex

Opened in 1887 by the Great Eastern Railway on its line from London Liverpool Street to Colchester, this is the junction for the Southend and Southminster branches. Until 1969 it was called "Shenfield and Hutton". View north east towards Ingatestone and Colchester. A station had also been on or near this site from 1847-1850.
