A pub for at least 122 years (so far), for most of its life it was known as either the New Pope Iron Inn or the Pope Iron Inn. The name was derived from the unusual road name but the origins of this are unknown. The current name of the Winning Post reflects the fact that the pub is fairly near to the famous Worcester Racecourse. Image
