The east bank of the River Usk is reflected in the windows of the Newport City Campus of the University of South Wales http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3418868. In April 2013 the University of South Wales was formed by the merger of the University of Glamorgan and the University of Wales, Newport. This building, situated on the west bank of the River Usk, opened in January 2011 as the City Campus of the University of Wales, Newport.
