View eastwards beyond the end of the Station Road, across the course of the ex-Caledonian Railway line to Muirkirk (to the right) from (to the left) Glasgow via Brocketsbrae and from Lanark. The station was closed with the line from Lanark to Muirkirk on 5/10/64.
